How do I preview a sprite sheet animation?
Drop the sheet, enter its columns and rows (or the frame size), and it plays right away. Use first and last frame to play just one row or action out of a bigger sheet.
What does ping-pong playback do?
It plays the frames forward and then backward (1-2-3-2-1) instead of jumping back to the start, which suits breathing idles, hovering and pulsing effects. The GIF export keeps the same order.
What is onion skin for?
It draws the previous frame faintly behind the current one, so you can see how far each part moves between frames and spot pops or jitter in the motion.
Will my pixel art stay sharp?
Yes. Zoom uses whole-number nearest-neighbour scaling, both in the preview and in the exported GIF, so pixels stay square with no blur.
