MCP connector

Voidless in Claude, ChatGPT and your editor

Ask an AI assistant for sprites, 8-way turns, animations, sound, music, video and 3D models in plain words. They're made in your Voidless library and shown right in the chat.

Connector URL

https://mcp.voidless.dev/mcp

Paste it as a custom connector and sign in. Needs Voidless+; generations use your credits.

Setup

Two ways to connect

Use the hosted connector if your assistant takes a URL, or the npm package if it runs servers on your computer. Both need Voidless+, and every generation uses your own credits, at the same prices as the app.

Hosted connector · nothing to install

Claude, ChatGPT and any client that takes a URL

Add a custom connector with this address, then sign in to Voidless when asked:

https://mcp.voidless.dev/mcp
  1. Claude (claude.ai and the Claude apps): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it Voidless and paste the URL.
  2. ChatGPT (web, paid plans): Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings → turn on Developer mode, then Create, paste the URL and pick OAuth.
  3. Sign in to Voidless on the page that opens and click Allow. You're sent back to the assistant, connected.

Results show inline: images, every facing of a rotation, animations playing, and audio and video players. To disconnect, revoke its "connector" key under API keys on your account page.

npm package · runs on your computer

Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code

Create an API key on your account page, then add the server. Use this way to work with image files on your own disk. Claude Code:

claude mcp add voidless -e VOIDLESS_API_KEY=void_... -- npx -y voidless-mcp

Claude Desktop, Cursor and any client with a JSON config:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "voidless": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "voidless-mcp"
      ],
      "env": {
        "VOIDLESS_API_KEY": "void_..."
      }
    }
  }
}

Needs Node.js 18 or newer. Package: voidless-mcp.

What the assistant can do

  • Your library: list and open assets, see every frame, tag assets and frames
  • Images: generate a sprite or asset, upload your own, edit with an instruction, pixelate, split a character into parts
  • Turns and animation: 8-way rotations, a single animation, whole animation sets from presets, mirror right-side animations to the left
  • Sound and video: sound effects, music, video clips, and extending a video
  • 3D: generate a model, rig a humanoid, animate it

Ask in plain words, for example "make a pixel art fox, turn it to all eight directions and give it a walk". Tools that spend credits say so, and nothing is ever deleted: edits and animations are added to the asset beside what was there.
